Details
- Camp Champions is a fun private camp (with cabins) that our Service Unit rents out for a weekend. Activities include:
- Table decorating contest
- Campfire
- Adventure activities on Saturday: Swimming in lake w/rope swing & the blob, Swimming in pool w/water slides & spin cycle, nature walk, Screaming Eagle, zip line, climbing wall, high ropes and pirate ship ropes course, archery, BB guns, and kayaking (some activities restricted by age)

The information below is all from last year and may change for 2025.
The Plan
Friday
- 5:00 pm Meet at Living Spaces
If you can’t make it by 5 pm, no problem! You’re not alone. Just let us know, especially if you will not be traveling with us.
- 6:30 pm Arrive, check in, unload gear to cabins and eat pizza
- 7:30 pm Set up, and go over buddy system & rules
- 10:00 pm Quiet time
Saturday
- Tentative schedule – adults can take photos of the final schedule when we arrive
- 10:00 pm Quiet time
Sunday
- Tentative schedule – adults can take photos of the final schedule when we arrive
- 10:00 am Leave
- Around 11:30 am Arrive at Living Spaces
- Scouts – $60, CANCELLATION FEE OF $55 after 1/24/25
- Chaperones – $60 CANCELLATION FEE OF $40 after 1/24/25
- Leaders – $0. Thank you for taking care of the girls! CANCELLATION FEE OF $100 after 1/24/25
NOTE: The service unit is charging $115 for scouts and $100 for adults, but we will be using troop funds to reduce the cost.
This fee covers:
- Friday night to Sunday morning cabin rental for Overnighters
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday
- Adventure activities on Saturday
- Camp t-shirts and event patch designed by a Girl Scout in our Service Unit
- A prize for the table decorating contest winner
- Craft/activity items needed for activities at camp
Everything you need to know about who is going, what car you are in, what group are you in, etc. All in one spot! Be sure to check each tab.

Girls need to know how to find what they packed, so let them help!
They should also be able to pack it back up themselves with minimal help.
Putting their name on things is super helpful.
Sleeping Items:
The cabins have beds with mattresses, but you will want to bring:
- Sleeping Bag or sheets and blanket
- Pillow
- Personal fan for warm nights
- You may want a plastic shower curtain to cover your bed when not in use – rain can come in the windows if we don’t get them closed in time
Important Items:
- A GOOD ATTITUDE
- Reusable water bottle
- Sunscreen
- Insect Repellent
- Flashlights (headlamps are great!)
- Rain jacket
- Camera
- Book
- Cell phone charger
Personal Hygiene:
- Soap
- Shampoo
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Hairbrush
- Towels and Washcloth
- Feminine Products
- Deodorant
- Bag to carry items to and from the bathrooms
Clothing:
Be sure to check the nighttime temperature!
Please remember that cotton t-shirts are not allowed in the swimming pool.
- Weather-Appropriate Clothes
- Sleepwear
- Socks and underwear
- Troop t-shirt for Saturday (check the inventory if you need one)
- Themed or fancy outfit for the final dinner (optional but fun!)
- Swimsuit
- Tennis/hiking shoes
- Shower and/or water shoes
SWAPS are “Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere”. Learn more here. Many troops bring these to exchange with other troops. We will not be making these as a troop this year! Come to the 4/6 meeting to make your share.
You can make changes or cancel your registration on the Service Unit changes/cancellation form.

Required forms
Please make sure to submit all forms as soon as possible. The following forms are required in order to attend the campout:
- Health Form (if you have not submitted this year)
- Overnight Permission Form
- Medication Log (if your Girl Scout needs medication)
