UPDATE:  This was originally scheduled for 9/23 at Grace Presbyterian.  It has been moved to 9/16 and will now take place at KXAN News Station!  Updated details are below:

Come meet Kristen Currie, a Meteorologist with KXAN!!!  We will meet a female meteorologist, learn about what a Meteorologist does, what weather is and what you have to do to be a Meteorologist.  We will also get a tour of the weather department at the studio and get to do a weather talk in the broadcast studio!!  This event will also earn the girls their STEM Career Badge for ALL levels along with a fun patch.

Daisy/Brownie – 10:00 am -11:00 am

J/C/S/A – 11:00-12:00 pm

Please arrive 10 minutes before your groups time to check in.

Cost:

Registered GS – $10 (includes the STEM Career badge, a fun patch and $1 donation to Girl Campaign)

Registered Adults – $1 (includes a $1 donation to Girl Campaign)

Registration is now due by noon, September 8.  Only registrations with payment to Troop 1587 will be submitted.
