We will be sleeping in the penguin encounter, with the penguins and puffins. We will visit SeaWorld during normal business hours on Sunday and head back to Living Spaces before dinner.
Date: Saturday, August 30th – Sunday, August 31st
Cost includes SeaWorld overnight, next day SeaWorld admission, SeaWorld overnight shirt, and Saturday dinner, Sunday breakfast and lunch.
REMINDER – all adults will be serving as chaperones, including Daisy parents. We will send out chaperone assignments with car assignments after registration closes.
The Plan
Saturday, 8/30/25
- 2:00 pm Meet at Living Spaces – we must depart quickly to arrive on time. Please do not be late.
If you can’t make it by 2 pm, no problem! You’re not alone. Just let us know that you will not be traveling with us. However, you must check-in at SeaWorld by 5:30pm or you will not be let in.
- 5:00 pm Check in, receive and change into SeaWorld overnight shirts
- Time TBA Dinner (cheese, pepperoni and veggie pizza, and water)
- Time TBA Evening program and Behind the Scenes Tour
- Time TBA Snack
- Time TBA Back to Penguin Encounter to get ready for bed
Saturday
- Time TBA Wake up and pack up gear
- Time TBA Breakfast (breakfast tacos, cereal, and coffee)
- 9:45 am Take gear to cars
- 10:00 am Explore SeaWorld
- 12:00 pm Eat lunch at SeaWorld
- 5:00 pm Head back to Living Spaces
- Around 7:00 pm Arrive at Living Spaces

- Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Girls – $32, CANCELLATION FEE OF $100 AFTER 7/31/25.
- Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girls – $100, CANCELLATION FEE OF $32 AFTER 7/31/25.
- Adult Chaperones – $132, NO REFUNDS AFTER 7/31/25
- Leaders – $32, CANCELLATION FEE OF $100 AFTER 7/31/25.
- Anyone who already has their own ticket to SeaWorld, and will not need the Troop to purchase a ticket for them for Sunday 8/31/25 can subtract $32 from the cost stated above.

- Sleeping bag
- Sleeping mat, foam pad, or self-inflating mat if it is lightweight, rolls or folds up, and is no thicker than 2 inches. (optional)
- Pillow
- Flashlight
- Bug Spray
- Clothes to sleep in
- Clothes for Sunday (including Troop 1587 t-shirt; SeaWorld requires all shorts to be at least mid-thigh)
- Toiletry items
- Refillable water bottle
- Comfortable walking shoes (no sandals or flip flops)
- Hat (optional)
- Sunscreen
- Medications (if needed)
- Portable charger for cell phones (Adults only, outlets may or may not be available)
- Jacket, raincoat, or poncho (if weather forecast predicts rain)
Children are asked to carry one item other than a pillow. There is no need to bring toys, chairs, grills, etc. We will be busy with the evening activities. Please leave any extra food at home.
Per the SeaWorld website:
“Unfortunately, our ambassadors are unable to accommodate participants wishing to rejoin their
sleepover group in the mornings. Please be aware that if you choose not to spend the night with your group, you will not be able to reunite with them until check-out.”
