World Thinking Day

February 27 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Organizer

Shannon Kruger – Admin Leader

Details

World Thinking Day is a day celebrated by Girl Guides and Girl Scouts around the world on February 22. It’s a day to celebrate their global community and to think about each other.

Our service unit hosts an annual event where families can go from booth to booth learning about different countries around the world.  It starts off with a country parade where you will watch troops dressed in costumes teaching you how to say hello and goodbye in the traditional language and additional fun facts.

Then, you’ll take your passport with you and taste traditional foods, create simple crafts, and play games at each booth.

Fee

Service unit is covering costs unless someone is a no-show. Registered guests and Girl Scouts will need to reimburse the service unit $5/person

The Plan

This is NOT a drop-off event.

Families should plan to attend with their scouts.
