Zoo Snooze Overnight at the Cameron Park Zoo!

We will be sleeping in the saltwater aquarium. We will visit the zoo during normal business hours on Saturday and head back to Living Spaces after lunch.
Date: Friday, July 26 – Saturday, July 27
Cost (due 7/1/24) – includes Zoo Snooze, next day zoo admission, and Saturday lunch
- Girls – $40, CANCELLATION FEE OF $35 AFTER 7/10/24.
- Adult Chaperones – $80, NO REFUNDS AFTER 7/10/24
- Leaders – $0, thanks for taking care of our kids! CANCELLATION FEE OF $80 AFTER 7/10/24.
REMINDER – all adults will be serving as chaperones, including Daisy parents. We will send out chaperone assignments with car assignments after registration closes.

The Plan
Friday
- 4:00 pm Meet at Living Spaces – we must depart quickly to arrive on time. Please do not be late.
If you can’t make it by 4 pm, no problem! You’re not alone. Just let us know that you will not be traveling with us. However, you must arrive at the zoo by 6pm or you will not be let in.
- 6:00 pm Check in
- 6:15 pm Set up, play on the playground
- 7:00 pm Dinner (cheese, pepperoni and sausage pizza, water and lemonade)
- 7:45 pm Evening program and Behind the Scenes Tour
- 9:30 pm Snack (goldfish crackers)
- 9:45 pm Back to sleeping area to get ready for bed
Saturday
- 7:00 am Wake up, pack up gear and take to cars
- 7:30 am Continental breakfast (danish, muffins, coffee and juice)
- 8:00 am Play on playground until zoo opens
- 9:00 am Explore the zoo exhibits
- 12:00 pm Eat lunch at the zoo
- 12:45 pm Head back to Living Spaces
- Around 2:15 Arrive at Living Spaces

Children are asked to carry one item other than a pillow. There is no need to bring toys, chairs, grills, etc. We will be busy with the evening activities. Please leave any extra food at home.
Per the Zoo website:
“Snoozes are an all-or-nothing event. Due to our safety protocols, the front gates of the zoo are secured for the night after dinner has arrived. Gates will be opened only in the case of emergencies.”
